Hey guys, today I am going to introduce on of my favorite X-Bow Rocket Cycle deck to you guys. The deck was made and shared by Ash couples of days ago. Currently I am testing this deck on both ladder and Grand Challenges with so many great results. This deck indeed works extremely well in the current meta game, against so many popular decks like Giant Bowler Mega Minion, X-Bowler and any deck containing Lightning. Ash used this deck to get to top 1 in one 1000 players Tournament and #5 in the other.
The Best X-Bow Rocket Cycling Deck
I am pretty sure that there are so many people absolutely hating the X-Bow but truly the first step to beating this kind of deck is to understand how it works and use it yourself. Although X-Bow is used pretty a lot in the game at the moment, I am still seeing so many people making a lot of mistakes while play against X-Bow.
You can probably see many versions of this deck in Clash Royale right now. They usually use Knight, Guards or Skeleton Army instead of Skeletons. Using Skeletons in this deck helps us cycle a lot quicker. Alongside, we have the Ice Spirit, The Log and Fire Balls, these three low Elixir cards allow us to cycle through the deck very quickly during the double Elixir time. If you don’t have The Log, the best substitute for it is probably the Arrows. This deck uses Inferno Tower instead of the dominating Tombstone since it doesn’t have a lot DPS.
Other more common decks may have Fireball instead of Rocket but at the moment I prefer Rocket because of its insanely high damage which can take out Elixir Collector, the opponent’s X-Bow and large Giant Bowler push coming down slowly.
Since the avg Elixir Cost of this deck is pretty low, don’t worry If you don’t want to play the X-Bow at the starting but you don’t have it in your hand. Drop either Ice Spirit, Skeletons or Fire Spirits down at the back and wait for your opponent’s react. Don’t hesitate to place the X-Bow down first If you can. If your opponent places a heavy troop down at the back, immediately place your X-Bow down on the other lane other to punish him. Don’t place your X-Bow on the same lane otherwise It will be locked on the tank till the next U.S Election.
I usually place either Fire Spirits or Ice Spirit down immediately in front of the X-Bow to temporarily protect it from any threat.
Below are the best X-Bow placements you can use on offense, 1 tile away from the river and 1 tile to the left/right depending on your side. By using these two, your X-Bow still touches the Tower but also ignore so many unwanted distractions on the other lane. Also, this helps you protect it a lot easier, force your opponent’s melee troops to walk to your side.
Immediately use your Rocket If your opponent places down either X-Bow or Elixir Collector. The Rocket is such a key which helps you win against other X-Bow decks. Rocketing their X-Bow not only provides you the equal trade but also takes the primary winning condition from your opponent.
At tournament level, Rocket deals 493 damage and The Log deals 96 damage to the Tower. I usually stop pushing on the lane once I have made it below 590Hp since I can take it out anytime by simply cycling through the deck to Rocket and The Log.
