Hello everyone, today I am going to bring to you an interesting Baby Dragon Balloon (or Dragloon) deck, which was shared by Trfel a few days ago. In this deck, Baby Dragon can be effectively used to either protect or push the Balloon. Also, this deck can easily counter most popular decks of the current meta game. This deck pushed Trfel to 3100+ trophies so I strongly believe that it can work very well from Arena 6 to Arena 9!

If you are below Arena 6, feel free to replace the Elixir Collector with either Spear Goblins or Minions.

Dragloon Deck for Arena 5+

At Tournament card levels, this deck works very well in Arena 9. While level 4 Poison and level 4 Baby Dragon don’t help much, getting level 4 Balloon will skyrocket the power of the deck.

Baby Dragon + Balloon:  This is the primary combo of this deck. Generally, drop your Baby Dragon right in front of your Balloon to tank for it while killing the small defensive units (Spear Goblins, Minions…). If your opponent uses defensive building to stop your push, drop the Baby Dragon behind your Balloon instead the next time. If your opponent places the Balloon right at the center, your Balloon will not be lured and your opponent will have significantly less time to deal with. Baby Dragon is also very useful on defense at dealing with small and ground units, giving you a great counterpush.
The Balloon is very weak without Baby Dragon. I rarely push with it only.

Fire Spirits: If your opponent uses low HP unit ssuch as Minion Horde, Goblins, Archers… to defend, play Fire Spirits right after your Dragloon push. Fire Spirits often kill them immediately and guarantee you the Tower kill. Fire Spirits are excellent on defense, at dealing with Goblin Barrel, swarms, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Barbarians, Musketeer… You could somehow replace Fire Spirits with Minions for a stronger deck versus Balloon, P.E.K.K.A Double Prince… but weaker offensively.

Mini P.E.K.K.A is an excellent tank killer. Beside Cannon, Mini P.E.K.K.A is usually used to take out Hog Rider and Royal Giant. She can be also used to couple with the Dragloon combo (Mini P.E.K.K.A at the back, then Baby Dragon and Balloon at the bridge). She is very strong against the Inferno Tower as your opponent can’t stop both Mini P.E.K.K.A and Balloon with ease.

Poison is super effective on both offense and defense, especially while dealing with Ice Wizard, 3 Musketeers, Princess while you are pushing with the Dragloon combo. I often use Poison to help my Balloon get 1 more hit on the Tower. Poison is very strong against the rocking Giant Poison deck of the current meta game. Don’t hesitate to Poison Tower + Elixir Collector + anything nearby as the Poison can easily take 4 Elixir from the Pump for at least an equal trade.

Matchups

Hog Rider: Easy matchup here as this deck has both Cannon and Mini P.E.K.K.A. You can use either to stop the Hog Rider. Drop your Mini P.E.K.K.A 4 tiles in front of your Tower right when the Hos is about to cross the river and she even doesn’t have to move a single step. With 2 perfect counters to the Hog Rider, you can easily catch up even the fastest Hog cycle deck.

Royal Giant: Pretty easy. Both Mini P.E.K.K.A and Cannon are great against Royal Giant. Most Royal Giant decks are pretty weak against air attack so you will find it pretty easy to get your Balloon to the opponent’s Tower.

Giant Pushes: Lure the Giant to the middle with Cannon, drop Mini P.E.K.K.A down to kill the supports behind, use Poison If needed. Don’t hesitate to use your Baby Dragon to soak damage while your Mini P.E.K.K.A is working on those units.

Three Musketeers: Pretty hard matchup, try to drop your Poison wisely, use Baby Dragon to soak damage then use Fire Spirit to take them out. I always try to play for the draw when I meet Three Musketeers.

P.E.K.K.A Double Prince: Hard matchup! Good luck!

Miner Cycle: Play defensively first, stack your Elixir Collector, save your Mini P.E.K.K.A to deal with Miner. In the x2 Elixir time, use Mini P.E.K.K.A on offense to launch huge pushes.

Balloon: Place your Elixir Collector in front of the King’s Tower and use Cannon reactively to pull the Balloon to the Elixir Collector, take a look at here for more details. Use Poison and Baby Dragon If needed.
