Getting Stuck in Arena 5? Try this Trifecta Remake Version!

Hello Arena 5 fellows, today I am going to give you a very easy-to-use modified version of the popular Trifecta deck. The reason why the traditional Trifecta version can’t be effectively used in Arena 5 is because of the Poison Spell level and the Elixir Collector. You want to level it up to at least level 2 before placing it into your deck.

My friend, YOLIT1, made this deck after getting stuck in Arena 5 for a pretty long time. I have to they that neither his card levels nor the luck took him to Arena 7, this deck did. It is very solid actually and can fit the game meta in Arena 5 very well. It is basically a beatdown deck which uses multiple offensive options but also very strong on defense.

Card Breakdown

Hog Rider: Hog Rider is the main tank of my deck. It is a very versatile card and it is very useful because of it’s speed. I normally put my Hog Rider down and put my Baby Dragon in front of it. This enables the Hog Rider to move freely whilst the Baby Dragon soaks damage from the tower and clears the path for dangers to the Hog, such as Skeleton Army, Witch, Barbarians etc. Do not replace Hog Rider!

Musketeer: Musketeer is one of the three main defensive cards in my deck and is also one out of three trifecta cards. I normally use my Musketeer to counter Baby Dragon and is also useful against soaking the damage the Lava Pups do so that your tower has more than enough time to kill them.
Here is a tip: Never put down your Musketeer for no reason because, as I said before, it is very useful against flying troops. I strongly recommend that you use Mega Minion instead if you have it and it is at least level 5.

Baby Dragon: Baby Dragon is the second Trifecta card and is great against group troops and ground splash damage dealers such as Witch, Ice Wizard, Skeleton Army etc. A level two Baby Dragon can survive a level 9 minion horde, so it’s very good! Do not use it to defend a Baby Dragon at any cost! DO NOT replace Baby Dragon!

Mini P.E.K.K.A.: Mini P.E.K.K.A. is my favorite card. It is the final trifecta card and is definitely great on both offense and defense. I use it to counter most tanks whilst they are distracted, and is also brilliant to take out buildings. However, I strongly recommend that you do not place it alone. Place it with a splash damage dealers. You could use it on offense if you know that they are low on elixir. It is great to kill a Valkyrie and counter push from there. I strongly recommend getting a huge push in one end and in the other end, putting a lone Mini P.E.K.K.A. as it can take out a tower if not disturbed. DO NOT REPLACE him with anything else!

Arrows: Arrows are especially effective against Minion Hordes and Skeleton Armies, but because we have Baby Dragon, Witch and Ice Wizard/Fire Spirits to deal with the Skeleton Army, I recommend that you use it on minion hordes instead as they are very ANNOYING! Else You could use zap instead but it should be at least level 10! Way too hard for lower arena/level players!

Ice Wizard: The ice wizard does not need any explanation. You just use it to slow down troops whilst another one of your cards finishes them off to create another small push. You basically use it the same way as a Witch. You could replace it with Fire Spirits or Spear Goblins or even guards but use Ice wizard if you have it.

Skeleton Army: After the October buff, which reduces the number by 5 but increases the level by 5, skeleton army is too OP as it now costs only 3 elixir! Most effective against any tank except for Golem. But it is very vulnerable to splash damage dealers. So, use Baby Dragon to take the splash damage dealer out first.

Witch: And finally, the best epic card (in my opinion), The Witch. Use it to counter almost anything except for Valkyrie and Musketeer.

Here are the levels of my cards:

Hog Rider: 6
Musketeer: 6
Baby Dragon: 2
Arrows: 9
Mini P.E.K.K.A.: 8
Ice Wizard: 2
Skeleton Army: 3
Witch: 3

So, there is proof that you can still get to Legendary Arena as a level 8! On my level one account (in which I am in Builder’s Workshop), I use the same deck, but as a level 1!

General Gameplan:

The game plan is basically to defend and build a huge counter push from there and put a Mini P.E.K.K.A. on the other side to get at least one tower and leave the other tower on low health. But most of the time, you will take down both towers. Just don’t use skeleton army straight up on offense. NEVER do that! The worst hand you could possibly get is: Arrows, Hog Rider, Musketeer and Mini P.E.K.K.A. It’s not that bad, is it?

Defending:

High HP tank and range splash damage dealer (Wizard, Witch, Baby Dragon etc.):

Here, I would distract the range splash damage dealer with Baby Dragon and dominate the tank with Skeleton Army and if necessary, a Witch. Now, if they add another supporting card or even another tank, place you Ice Wizard at the back and a Mini P.E.K.K.A. and you have a BIG push!

The only weakness of this deck is a Golem Siege deck! So, Frozen Peak is certain, Legendary Arena is 80% and if you get to 3600+ trophies, leave a message!
