Hey guys, in this post I am going to show a very funny deck for Arena 8+ evolving around the Bowler and the X-Bow. This guide was shared by PRISM (thanks a lot man!). Hopefully you guys will like this deck since it’s full of Giant and Hog Rider on the ladder!

Card Breakdown

The ideal card levels are for Arena 9

X-Bow – Ideal Level: 3 – Well, you can know almost everything about it if you read the name of this deck! X-Bow is a beast on both offense and defense, with moderate health and quick damage dealing function, X-Bow is the best choice to wreck Towers and defend against current meta. For people who are really tired of defending against the still-annoying Princess (!), X-Bow won’t let her step any further if nothing in front of it! While X-Bow can’t target air troops, it’s a nice defensive card against air troops like Lava hound and Balloon too, due to its health. X-Bow also usually shocks the opponent due to the lack of its usage. Just drop it on one tile back from the river (To make use of the friendly crown tower support!) to aim at the Crown Tower, and use Ice Wizard and Bowler to defend the X-Bow. High level (10+) Mortar should work too.

Bowler – Ideal Level: 3 – Bowler is the ideal choice to stand against the biggest threats in current meta, I mean the Barbarians, Wizard, Witch, Musketeer, cheap ground units, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Valkyrie, etc. More of his DPS, the most important strength of Bowler is his knock-back feature. He can also hurt support troops behind the powerful tanks of current meta, and be one of the best defensive cards in this deck. You can also use high level (7+) Valkyrie instead.

Ice Wizard – Ideal Level: 2 – I think there is no need to introduce this amazing card. A troop who hits both ground and air units with area damage and the ability to slow everything down, with a strength of standing against the Fireball and most of other most-used spells. Just throw it and defend your X-Bow completely against most of aerial and ground threats. Normal Wizard (lv7+) or Witch (lv3+) may do it too.

Mini P.E.K.K.A – Ideal Level: 7 – Mini P.E.K.K.A has a high use rate especially at higher Arenas, because it’s the most cheap card to counter the key troops of current meta. It just “shred”s and can be used against Giant, P.E.K.K.A, Golem, Hog Rider, Royal Giant, etc. Due to its moderate health and high damage, he can be the best choice to protect your Area! Nothing can be better than him, but Guards (lv4+ only) are usable if you want to cycle a little faster.

Fire Spirits – Ideal Level: 10 – Fire spirits are… real bi*ch*s!! Your opponent will not have time to Zap ’em often, because they’ll go for the kamikaze protect and sacrifice themselves to kill Minion Horde, cheap units and hurt Barbarians badly in blink of an eye! Just drop them on the middle to pull the lone Mini P.E.K.K.A and kill it in seconds with support of the Crown Tower (Be aware of ZAP!!)! No other working choice to be this cheap and stand against aerial pushes.

Elixir Collector – Ideal Level: 8 – This one really needs no explanation! You need a high level one to tolerate the Fireball, but even level 6 helps. You can use Ice Spirit (lv7+) to cycle much faster and use it as another great support for X-Bow. (Then it’s strongly recommended to offend only in the late game period)

Zap – Ideal Level: 10 – (It seems none of these cards need any explanation.) Zap is one of the best common cards in the entire clash royale world. It’ll destroy and it’ll stun, just for joy, and some fun! Arrows (lv7,8+) are usable, but then you may lose to most of Sparky using players. Not recommended after all.

Poison – Ideal Level: 3 – Poison is a really balanced card. It will help you to stand against BIG pushes and make cheap troops disappear in a short period of time. If you have level 2, it’s not that much recommended to use this card… You may use Fireball (lv7+). It can be a perfect alternate for

General Gameplan

Start with either Elixir Collector, Ice Wizard or Bowler. If you don’t have Elixir Collector in your hand, wait for your opponent to deploy first, then deploy Ice wizard, Bowler or (if needed) Mini P.E.K.K.A in the same lane as your opponent deployed a troop.

On offense, deploy Ice Wizard and/or Bowler, then place the X-Bow like I wrote above. Use other troops too if needed. (Best offense at the late game) If you got high pressure on one lane and your opponent has elixir lack, deploy Mini P.E.K.K.A and Fire spirits on the opposite land (this trick depends on your own skill and your opponent’s).

On defense, use ALL your troops and deploy your X-Bow right in the middle center (no matter right or left side) to defend against princess and current meta troops.

Matchups

• Hog Trifecta: Use Mini P.E.K.K.A and Ice Wizard to deal with Hog Rider and Valkyrie. Better to kill Musketeer too before launching your main offensive plan.
• Giant Poison: Use Mini P.E.K.K.A to deal with Giant and Musketeer. Now you can start what you had to.
• Lava Hound decks: Use X-Bow as a defensive building in the (near)middle of your area. Now, use Ice wizard and Poison and if needed Fire spirits to deal with the lava hound and the pups.
• P.E.K.K.A Decks: Play for a draw. JUST DEFEND. Use all your troops, buildings and spells to defend against your opponent’s pushes.
• Miner Cycle decks: Place Bowler in front of your crown tower. The cheap stuff will damage bowler while he’ll deal with Miner and then with the other cheap stuff around.
