Hey guys! M4SON back again today with my own interpretation of Hog Rocket.  This is your typical Hog Rider, Mini P.E.K.K.A cycle deck. That surprise factor all comes down to the pocket rocket or gamble Rocket. A Rocket at tournament standard does up to 1200 damage to troops and almost 500 damage to an Arena tower! However, being at a whopping 6 elixir use this card carefully and always try to get the most value out of it.  Lets jump into the decklist!

Ice Spirit: As always gotta include the best card in the game in my opinion. For one elixir you can cycle your deck, defend insane pushes for only 2 elixir, as well as send in with your hog rider to freeze any defense so your hog can get more tower hits. Great for also stopping Minions / Hordes as well accompanied with a zap of course!

Fire Spirit: A great card for additional swarm clear as well as for barbarians. Synergies well with Mini P.E.K.K.A as well as your Hog attacks. Great on both defense and offense much like its counter part the Ice Spirit.  A well time Fire Spirits + Zap and instantly make some Barbarians disappear. Zap: Great overall spell for the classic Hog + Zap combo. Zap away any cheap troops stopping your Hog, or reset that pesky Sparky. Use Zap to also get a few extra Hog hits on the enemies tower. All in all I think everyone knows how to effectively use Zap by now!

Mini P.E.K.K.A: The big hitter of the deck. Use primarily on defense against high hp single target units. Can effectively also stop Barbarians with the help of the tower. Send with Fire Sprits for a deadly push, or throw it in front or behind a Hog attack for additional pressure.

Hog Rider: Typical Hog Rider play. Send your Hog with a Hog push with the Ice Spirit. (Same tile quick drop if you don’t know how to do that check the video!) Or with a standard Hog push using Fire Spirits. Effectively sneak a couple Hogs through and your opponent will be in for quite the surprise late game!

Inferno Tower: Great up and coming card for all the huge tanky cards in the meta game. Great for stopping Giants + Bowlers. Make sure you protect your Inferno against Minions / Horde, with the help of Princess, and the Spirits.

Rocket: The god Rocket. Normally you can use it to deny Elixir Collectors. However, I do like keeping my rocket a secret for most of the time. During end game surprise the enemy by shooting off the winning rocket after you have already snuck your hog through a couple times. If you know your opponents card cycle and how they are typically defending your hog, you can do the prediction rocket and snipe the tower and whatever troop for huge value. Also great for taking out backline Sparky while getting damage on the tower.

Princess: The backup card. Use as a supporting back up to your Inferno Tower. Or back up any of your offensive pushes with helpful splash. Combos nicely with your Mini P.E.K.K.A to get to the tower, or your Hog Rider for additional tower chip. Position Princess carefully so she always adding pressure to the map.

Overall Game Plan:

Starting off you generally want to just start attacking as soon as possible. Often I will open with Princess in the back and protect her with either Ice Spirit or Mini P.E.K.K.A. Then I will start sending my Hog  attacks in, either Hog + Ice Spirit or Hog + Fire Spirits or sometimes just a solo Hog. Begin understand your opponents cards and card cycle because this will be very important when it comes to predicting correcting. Defend using Mini P.E.K.K.A and Inferno Tower, with the help of your Princess and Spirits of course, then counter attack again and again with the Hog Rider. Deny Elixir Collectors if you choose to do so with your Rocket. However, if they don’t use Elixir Collectors save your rocket for the surprise ending to win the game. If the enemy is defending very effectively with Barbarians or Mini P.E.K.K.A, look at their placement for the cards and try to predict late game with a HUGE gamble rocket and snipe those troops of out existence. Overall it’s a very cheap deck so if you do miss a rocket, you can still defend using Ice Spirit / Fire Spirits  / Princess. Good luck and be one with the rocket!
